Even though summer is sadly coming to an end, I am still hanging on to all of my tank tops and shorts before it gets too cold. So even though I’ll only have a few weeks this year to wear them, I made an adorable pair of patterned shorts. I found this fabric at JoAnn’s, and despite not knowing exactly what I was going to do with it, I had to get it because it is so pretty, and to be honest, I can’t stay away from graphic prints. I also hardly ever wear dark blue, so I thought I would change my color choices up a bit
I made a similar pair of shorts last year (the multi-colored floral ones), but the main difference between the two patterns is that this one uses more fabric. The actual pants/shorts leg is quite flowy and relaxed, and also has pleats in the front and the back. The waistband is also a little wider. Unfortunately, these shorts do not have any pockets : ( Where am I going to put my hands?
These shorts are super comfortable too; enough so that Anya was able to wear them all day while walking around Manhattan this weekend. That is the true test of comfort!!!
